Innovation & Industry Alliances

Innovation & Industry Alliances (IIA) works with research teams from across PSU, and with organizations around the world, to maximize the impact of PSU innovation.  We work to clear title to PSU innovation; create and implement strategy to see PSU innovation in action; and assist to further develop and enhance PSU innovation and PSU research.  Specifically, we achieve these through working with PSU researchers and companies to assist in entering into research or development collaborations; licensing intellectual property to or from third parties; and undertake actions necessary to achieve these goals.

We use trademark, patent & copyright to achieve goals that PSU researchers have for their innovation.  IIA also works with Oregon companies through the Portland State Business Accelerator and many companies as licensees of PSU innovation.
