PSU's Human Subjects Research Review Committee (HSRRC) provides independent determinations on methods, risks, benefits and rights involved in research involving human subjects. The HSRRC is responsible for reviewing and approving projects, conducted by both faculty and students alike, involving human subjects research.

Submission Deadlines and Meeting Dates

Please note that application submission deadlines below pertain only to those applications receiving a Full Committee review (i.e. greater than minimal risk and/or research with vulnerable populations as deemed by the HSRRC). Applications receiving either Expedited or Waived reviews will be sent to reviewers upon receipt by the HSRRC.

Applications to be reviewed by the Full Committee are due two weeks prior to the Committee's meeting date. Meeting dates are listed below.

Note: IRB#1 meets on the first Friday of each month. IRB#2 meets on the third Friday of each month.
